A Service Charge is a payment many of our residents make towards the cost of the upkeep of the communal areas of their estate and block.

It covers services that are provided outside of your own home can be seperated into two sections:

• estate charges (for residents who live on an estate) include: gardening, removal of refuse and bulk refuse, tree surgery, equipment servicing and other miscellaneous estate services such as site signs
• block charges (for residents who live in a block) include: cleaning and lighting in communal areas, communal equipment such as: lifts, entry phone systems, communal TV Aerials, water pumps, ventilation equipment, emergency lighting and fire alarms.
